Deuteronomy 6:4-9

Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are are at home and when you are on the road, when your are going to bed and when your are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

 Still here!

Despite the fact that I haven't been on my blog in a VERY long time...I'm still here.  Still maintaining our little patch of Indiana!  Trying anyway:)

Hmmm...so, where do I start.  Since last post our family has grown.  Welcome little Hudson Glenn.  Named after the missionary Hudson Taylor and my father, Glenn.       That happened in September of 2013, so he's changed quite a bit.  Guess you'll have to check back to see if I update my blog with some new pictures?

Just before Hudson's arrival we were "cow-sitting" for a friend.  The girls milked her once a day and we even had some homeschool friends over for a milking demonstration. Hats off to my girls for sticking with it while we had her.  Yep that's me ON my due date...Hudson was born just short of a week later.
After much begging we agreed to some new pets in the house.  So in February we welcomed "Ulrich" (he came with that name) a 3 ft long ball python.  He's very tame as you can see.  He eats frozen (yes we thaw them out) rats once a month.  Kind of strange to open the freezer and have to move the frozen rats to reach the bacon!).  Sydney also acquired 2 bearded dragons (Fred and Ethel...she's a huge I Love Lucy fan) who are actually quite entertaining.
The girls are all growing up.  I have young ladies to help me with our "little patch" and all the maintenance a household of 9 requires...thank you girls!

The kids obviously get a hold of my phone every now and then and snap a few selfies...don't mind it a bit:)

And that's us...me and the hubby.  Yep, still married to my knight in shining armor.  Enjoying life as we take it a day at a time.  We've been working a lot around the place this spring.  I'm looking forward to getting back to blogging and sharing life.

Last but not least, the latest family picture!  Ok, so it's a Christmas picture and already we've all changed.  Hey, you never know.  If you check back I just might post again:)
