Deuteronomy 6:4-9

Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are are at home and when you are on the road, when your are going to bed and when your are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Interesting Find

 

Ok, so we are heading back to camp and we come across a 3-4 ft.  Timber Rattlesnake.  It was such an exciting find that I thought it deserved it’s own post.  I got as close as I could without endangering my life.  Although, a few of the pics got a little blurry when  I started backing up to move out of it’s way.  Here goes…

    Um, that was pretty close. . . or you have amazing optical zoom. Perhaps you should consider a new career for National Geographic. The pictures are fantastic!

    Oh, and yes I have a nice zoom lens that makes pictures like these safe for non-snake lovers like myself:)
