This year we’ve been studying “Flying Creatures” (mainly birds) in Science. A birdhouse was the project at the end of this particular lesson. Being that we thoroughly enjoy watching various birds at our feeders, and drinking and bathing in our small yard pond, we were eager to build this easy house (I can’t say that I am always eager to do the “experiments” or projects listed for us, but this one was right up our alley).
We headed to Lowe’s with our list in tow, picked out our supplies, had Lowe’s cut the wood the the necessary sizes, and had Joe help us put it all together.
It was pretty simple, making it all the more fun for all of the kids…and parents:)
A job well done.
So simple for Joe, he doesn't even have to take off his dress shirt! :)
ReplyDeleteCertainly a job well done! I hope you'll enjoy the fruits of your labor. I'm sure the birds will!
