Deuteronomy 6:4-9

Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are are at home and when you are on the road, when your are going to bed and when your are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Poison Ivy

Many of you know that I am extremely allergic to poison ivy.  Of course I managed to leave  Brown County with a bad case of it.  I am posting a few pictures of what I believe was poison ivy.  If you can tell for sure, let me know.  One would think that by now I would be fully aware of what poison ivy in the wild looks like, but for some reason I am always uncertain.

All of these pictures were taken at our campsite.  When we first pulled up I thought to myself, “I think that is poison ivy”.  I did my best to stay away from it, but it doesn’t take much for me to get it….and get it I did.

  1. No comment. I am not a poison ivy-ologist.... I hope you survive unscathed. (I will add this to reason #144 that I hate camping)
